Born and raised in Los Angeles, Cameron Covell knew from an early age he would be in the movie business. Whether it was his affinity for being in front of and behind the lens, or the similarity between his first name and the word "camera," his destiny, it seemed, was inescapable. After graduating USC film school, Cameron Covell began working as a filmmaker at the production company/YouTube channel "RocketJump," making his fate become a reality.
After receiving the tremendous honor of being named a “Presidential Scholar in the Arts” for his filmmaking work, Cameron’s short film work has gained a gross total of over 35 million views on YouTube. And while he now wears big boy pants and uses grown-up words like "mortgage" and "Roth IRA" he'll still always be the little goof behind his dad's oversized VHS Camcorder.
